Yanta profile      Yanta District is located in the south of Xi’an, facing Baqiao District across Chanhe River in the east, Chang’an District in the south and west, and Xingcheng District, Beilin District, Lianhu District and Weiyang District across the 2nd Ring Road in the north. With an area of 152 km2 and a population of 1.1 million, it contains eight subdistrict offices, 89 urban communities and 120 administrative villages.
